all beach bars are owned locally and you won't find any mega franchise
names here, just plain originality. Some boast live entertainment and special
events.

Apple Bay. Presided over by the legendary Bomba himself, Bomba's Shack
has live entertainment a couple of nights a week but it is famous
throughout the Caribbean for its wild and occasionally crazy full moon
parties. The rum punches are plentiful, but most in-the-know folks will
advise you against trying Bomba's mushroom tea, unless you're into
seeing the stars.
